Young Artist Studio - Primary Aged - Term 3 2026

A$295.00

Years 3–6 | Term 3 2026

Not every art project needs to end up on the fridge.

I am excited to introduce in Term 3 a Primary Aged Art class. Young Artists Studio is an 8-week guided art program designed to help children slow down, build confidence, and create one beautiful artwork from start to finish.

Over the term, students will plan, experiment, and develop their ideas before creating a large approx. 60 x 60cm canvas artwork. Along the way, they'll learn about colour, composition, creative decision-making, and the artistic process in a supportive studio environment and led by a professional artist.

This program focuses on quality over quantity, encouraging students to take their time, trust their ideas, and experience the satisfaction of completing a substantial piece of work they can be truly proud of.

What's Included

• 8 x 1-hour studio sessions
• All materials supplied
• Large 60 x 60cm canvas included - (Optional framing available at the end of term for additional cost)
• Guided creative instruction

If behaviour becomes unsafe or consistently disruptive, parents/guardians will be contacted. In rare cases, a student may be withdrawn from the program without refund.

5. Materials & Artwork Care

All standard art materials are provided as part of the program fee. Artwork will be handled with care; however, marks, wear, or changes to artworks are a natural part of creative processes and cannot be avoided.

Photography and media permissions are handled separately during checkout. Any images captured will be used in line with the preferences selected by the parent or guardian.

7. Enrolment & Payment

Enrolment is confirmed once full payment has been received. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.

8. Minimum Enrolments

Each program requires a minimum number of enrolments to proceed. If this number is not met, families will be notified and a full refund will be issued.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the program start date will receive a refund minus a small administrative fee.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of the program start date are non-refundable, unless the place can be filled.

  • Missed sessions are not refundable and cannot be made up.

  • If the program does not proceed due to minimum enrolments not being met, a full refund will be provided.

10. Program Changes

The facilitator reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session structure, materials, or scheduling where required, while maintaining the overall intent and quality of the program.

11. Liability

All reasonable care will be taken during sessions. Neither the facilitator nor The Lighthouse accepts responsibility for injury, loss, or damage outside of their control.
