About Me

My art is a joyful, abstract response to the natural world. I’m endlessly inspired by flowers and the everyday beauty around me, and I’m far more interested in capturing how nature feels than creating a perfect representation of it.

I love working with a mix of materials. Acrylic paints, oil pastels, pencils, collage, inks, and pen all make their way into my process in different ways. I often work from reference images, but each artwork becomes its own thing, holding a nod to the original image while still feeling distinctly mine.

I don’t often open commissions, so if they’re available, take the opportunity. While commissions aren’t my main focus, I do love a creative challenge and collaborative projects. If you have an idea or a project that needs an artist, I would love to hear about it and add my creative flare.

Over the past ten years, my art and storytelling career has taken me in many directions. I’ve held solo and group exhibitions, created murals across western Queensland, and been recognised for my storytelling work as an ABC Heywire Trailblazer and a Queensland AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award finalist. These experiences have shaped the way I work and strengthened my belief in art as a connector.

At the heart of my practice is a desire to help people see the world a little differently. I want to capture the energy, movement, and wild beauty of a flower and invite a sense of connection and joy. Each piece is a small reflection of that fascination, and I hope it brings warmth and colour into your space.

Outside the studio, I’m a Mum to four incredible kids, married to a gorgeous and endlessly supportive husband, and fuelled by a slightly wild obsession with good coffee. Life is full and often messy, and that love, chaos, and colour naturally finds its way into my work.

Artist Bio (the short version)
