Women in business in Rural Australia - Survey Disclaimer

DISCLAIMER:

You are invited to participate in a web-based online survey.

You are invited to participate in this research project because you:

✅ identify as a female

✅ based in rural or remote Australia

✅ currently running their own business or thinking/wanting to start a business

The procedure involves filling in an online survey that will take approximately 30 minutes.

The purpose of this research project is to learn more about female business owner/operators, those thinking or wanting to start a business and those currently running their own business. The intention of this research will help to further develop future products and projects by Samantha Meurant to benefit the development of rural women in or starting business. This is a research project being conducted by Samantha Meurant.

PARTICIPATION

Your participation in this survey is voluntary. You may refuse to take part in the research or exit the survey at any time without penalty. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason.

BENEFITS

You will receive no direct benefits from participating in this research study. However, your responses may help us learn more about rural women in business, and the benefits and pain points in which they have.

RISKS

There are no foreseeable risks involved in participating in this study other than those encountered in day-to-day life.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Providing identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address is optional. Your responses will be kept confidential, however if you provide written statements they may be used in future works created by Samantha Meurant but should you not want to be named click the “I wish to remain anonymous” check box at the end of the survey. Samantha Meurant will be using the content in your book and materials created but will seek permission prior to publishing statements provided.

We will do our best to keep your information confidential. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. To help protect your confidentiality, the surveys will not contain information that will personally identify you. The results of this study will be used for Samantha Meurants purposes and projects only.
