Abstract Blooms

Abstract Blooms is a vibrant new series of abstract paintings by Toowoomba artist Sam Walton. This exhibition celebrates the joyful energy and complexity of the floral world, inviting viewers to connect with nature on a deeper level.

Drawing from her deep connection to the Queensland landscape, Sam’s work is intuitive and expressive. Using a diverse range of materials like acrylics, pastels, and inks, she moves beyond literal representation to capture the feeling of a flower—its movement, its resilience, its wild beauty. Each piece is built up with spontaneous layers of colour and texture, creating a rich history on the canvas.

This collection reflects Sam's core belief that art is a powerful tool for connection. It’s an invitation to see the familiar through a new lens and a testament to her enduring mission: to create art that brings joy and vibrant energy into your space.

This is a solo exhibition being held at Toowoomba Regional Councils - Crows Nest Gallery.
